Watercolor - Color Study

Step beyond simple primary and secondary color mixing and learn to use color systems to improve painting. Class work includes limited palette compositions as well as hands on color theory exploration.


Students learn fundamentals and make a small tapestry style weaving. This can be a fun way to incorporate collected shells, driftwood, beads and buttons into woven art. Warping, weaving and finishing techniques are covered.


Take the lid off of drawing. Explore a variety of media, juice creativity and expand modes of expression in this multifaceted class.


Start learning the drawing skills you’ve always wanted in this beginner friendly class. Practice using line, shape, value, and texture to represent the world around you and boost creative thinking.


Grow your weaving skills, get support in expressing your design vision and share camaraderie with other weavers.  Expand your skills with pictorial weaving and textured textiles.   Techniques covered include:  curves, wedge weave, open work, patterning, soumak & twining variations, and blocking and finishing.
