Beginning Frame Loom Weaving Class
Students learn fundamentals and make a small tapestry style weaving. This can be a fun way to incorporate collected shells, driftwood, beads and buttons into woven art. Warping, weaving and finishing techniques are covered.

Undersea Salad Collage Workshop
Use collage techniques and design principles to focus on an underwater theme. Students will create a composition chock full of experimentation and serendipity. A great way to jumpstart creative thinking!

Frottage Drawing Workshop
Frottage – made famous by the Surrealist Max Ernst - is about creating with textures. Think leaf rubbings on steroids! Explore textures from unexpected sources, make automatic drawings and experiment with composition. A great way to enliven your work and a perfect warm up for beginning drawing.
Artists of all experience levels welcome from complete beginners through professionals.

Continuing Frame Loom Weaving
NOTE - NO CLASS on Sept. 19
Grow your weaving skills, get support in expressing your design vision and share camaraderie with other weavers. Expand your skills with pictorial weaving and textured textiles. Techniques covered include: curves, wedge weave, open work, patterning, soumak & twining variations, and blocking and finishing.
